Overview
The School House at Swansea was built by James Hurst in 1860. The ruins of the old military station on Waterloo Point were used in its construction.
After the old Anglican church on Waterloo Point was closed and pulled down in 1868, the Anglican's held their services in the School House for a short period until the new church, All Saint's was built in 1871.
Today this building is the East Coast Heritage Museum, Glamorgan War Memorial and Glamorgan Spring Bay Historical Society Inc.
