Overview
In 1905, a Church of Christ chapel was established at South Road in Penguin. Before this, services were held at the home of Mr. Frank Dent in West Ulverstone.
In January 1907, Evangelist W. Moffit visited the South Road church with the intention of establishing a Church of Christ in Preston. In 1921, the building was relocated to 19 Queen Street.
