Overview
The foundation stone for St Aidan's church at Rocky Cape was laid in early 1908 by Ven. Archdeacon Whittington. The contractor was Mr. D. Ferguson, his workmanship was given high praise as was his tradesman like manner.
Dedicated by the Ven. Archdeacon Beresford on the 31st November 1908 the building would hold 130 people. The church was described as most prettily situated.
