St Michael & All Angels'

Plans for an Anglican church at Roger River were drawn up between 1964 and 1967.

St Michael and All Angels' is of a modern hexagon design, it is set in a tranquil rural location. The people from Edith Creek, Nabageena, Roger River and Trowutta all contributed to the build.

On Sunday the 2nd May 1976 the Bishop of Tasmanian the Rt. Rev. R.E. Davies performed the consecration, assisted by local and lay preachers.
