Overview
This church was blessed by Archbishop Guilford Young in 1968. The land was purchased for $28,317 from the Housing Commission about 1961.
The church focused on catechetical instructions and activities for Presentation Sisters, Missionary Sisters and lay people. A 16 acre property situated on Malunna Road was a host for the Rosary Sisters correspondence school, until it was moved to Launceston in 1964.
In March 1994 the silver jubilee was celebrated with a service from the Archbishop Eric D'Arcy.
