Records indicate that services were held from 1933 for about 30 years.
The Methodist Mission circuit held meetings in June 1944 to discuss the removal of the recently acquired building to be used as a church. The opening of the new Methodist church was performed by Rev. R.H. Howie in 1945.
The church was sold about 1964. On our visit in 2000 it was being used as a barn.
