Overview
Mr. G. Doherty, a local contractor won the successful tender to erect the new Anglican church building at Ellenton, it was expected that the building would be completed within six weeks; this was reported in the North West Post on Tuesday 1st October 1907.
The old church at Ellenton (Cuprona) was demolished and re-erected in 1921 at South Riana. It was moved again in 1944 to West Pine.
