On Good Friday 1922 Mr. Basil Archer laid he foundation stone for a new church, it was opened in August 1922 with a large congregation attending. Part of the old building formed the kitchen in the church hall.
In June 1977 the Methodist amalgamated under the banner of the Uniting Church of Australia.
