Overview
The Lindisfarne Uniting Church, located on a substantial hillside property that also includes a separate three-level, five-bedroom residence, was sold on 12th August 2025.
Following the sale, the Hobart Mosque announced that the property had been acquired by a newly established Islamic organisation, The House of Guidance Hobart.
Mr. Al Dawahdeh expressed his deep respect for the heritage of the former church, acknowledging its enduring significance as a place of worship since its construction in 1903.
