Overview
We see our Masjid not simply as a house of worship with walls, a roof and open doors. Rather, we believe that that is actually the members and believers that come together for the sake of God to learn and practice his words, understand his commandments and extend his gifts. Our aims are derived from the noble Islamic teaching of spreading peace, helping the needy and bringing people together.
The Centre will serve all Muslim families in Launceston and Northern Tasmania and will provide high quality Islamic education for children, young adults and Muslim Women. The Centre will facilitate Friday sermons and regular community gatherings.
It was officially opened on 18th March 2022.
This complex was previously used by the Baptist and Salvation Army.
