Overview
This historic sandstone Italian style chapel was opened in October 1842, the service was conducted by Rev. Miller. The chapel is believed to have been designed by James Blackburn.
In 1944 its celebrated 102nd anniversary with a public tea in the Bagdad town hall, about 150 people attended. Like many churches throughout the years, functions and harvest thanksgiving services were held to raise funds for the necessary upkeep and renovations.
When the Uniting Church in Australia was established on 22nd June 1977, this Congregational church joined the union.
This building has been advertised for sale several times, it is now a private residence
