Overview
This building was formerly the Memorial Uniting Church. Today it is described as follows:
Hobart Central Church is a cross-cultural church located in the heart of the city of Hobart on the corner of Elizabeth and Brisbane Streets.
It was planted in 2005 as a Korean congregation by Pastor Paul J B Kim and his wife Young Sook Lee. With a heart to reach all people, we now have both English and Korean language services attended by people from many cultures. All are welcome to join us as we worship the Lord Jesus Christ together. We are a ‘grand daughter’ of Yeouido Full Gospel Central Church, Seoul, South Korea and also an affiliate of Australian Christian Churches (formerly Assemblies of God).
