Opened in early 1934, this neat weatherboard church with iron roof was at the time the sixth Seventh-day Adventist church in Southern Tasmania and the first church at Kaoota.
The structure measured 36ft x 18ft and was positioned at an angle of the Pelverata and the old Sandfly Colliery Roads.
