Overview
In March 1926 a building committee comprising of women was formed to raise funds for the building of a church. St Andrew's Union Church was completed in February 1933.
The weatherboard building measured 28 feet by 20 feet and the chancel 12 feet by 10 feet with a 8 feet by 6 feet vestry. Electric lights and all the necessary fittings were fine acquisitions to the building and the Channel district. When opened it was free of debt.
This building was sadly destroyed in the 1967 bush fires.
