Overview
The Wesleyan Chapel at Mole Creek, which also served as a day school, was opened in August of 1878. In 1880, the building underwent an enlargement, with the total expenditure amounting to £220.
Over the ensuing years, this church hosted numerous functions within the community and played a major role in fostering social cohesion, providing spiritual guidance, and supporting various charitable endeavors.
Upon the formation of the Uniting Church of Australia (UCA) on the 22nd of June, 1977, through the amalgamation of the Congregational, Methodist, and some Presbyterian Churches of Australia, this church became an integral part of the new union.
This building was advertised for sale in 2022 as a three-bedroom residence.
