Overview

The Mole Creek Presbyterian congregation unfolds against a backdrop of perseverance and fortitude. The establishment of the first Presbyterian church in the locality bore witness to the trials and tribulations endured by early settlers in their quest to establish a spiritual sanctuary amidst the rugged terrain.

The culmination of these efforts materialized in the consecration of the new Presbyterian church on the momentous occasion of Saturday, the 10th September 1932. Presided over by the esteemed Moderator, Reverend F. J. Thomas, the consecration ceremony served as a testament to the resilience and dedication of the congregation.

A poignant moment ensued as the Moderator unveiled a commemorative tablet, bearing the solemn inscription: "To the glory of God, this church was consecrated by Right Reverend F. J. Thomas, Moderator, September 10, 1932." These words, etched in stone, served as a perpetual testament to the faith and devotion of the congregants, as well as a reminder of the arduous journey that led to the realization of their spiritual haven.

Thus, amidst the rugged landscapes of Mole Creek, a beacon of faith emerged, embodying the enduring spirit of Presbyterianism and standing as a testament to the perseverance of those who labored to establish it.
