Wilmot Uniting Church

The Wesleyan church at Wilmot was formerly opened in October 1899, its opening was delayed due to inclement weather. The church measured 30 x 18 feet, with a porch and Gothic windows. Situated on an elevation next door to Mr. T.J. Clarke's store, it had a commanding view.

This timber building was replaced in 1912 and was then used for Sunday School classes until the mid 1990s.

On Friday the 29th March 1912 the new church was opened.

It would be hard to find a, nicer church in a country district, and the edifice is a credit to the builder, Mr. W. England was reported in The North West Post.

Now used by the Assembly of Confessing Congregations of the Uniting Church of Australia.
