An advertisement for the opening of the Presbyterian church at Chudleigh appeared in the Examiner on 28th October 1858:
PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, CHUDLEIGH
The above place of worship will be opened for divine service by the Rev. T. K. Ewing, on SUNDAY, 14th November, Service to commence at 11 a.m. A collection will be made in aide of the building fund.
The church, said to have been constructed on Burnett Street, its location is depicted on an early 1900s map. However, the subsequent fate of the building and the date of its closure remain unknown to this day.
