Overview

The year 1966 marked a pivotal juncture as the venerable Church of England embarked upon a transformative endeavor. Acquiring the weathered weatherboard structure that once housed congregational aspirations, the Church embarked upon a journey of restoration and renewal. Guided by a reverence for tradition and a vision for the future, meticulous alterations were undertaken to ensure the edifice resonated with the solemnity of its newfound purpose.

With the dawn of 1972, the venerable structure witnessed the addition of a front porch, a subtle yet significant augmentation that imbued the venerable edifice with a sense of welcoming embrace. Through these architectural interventions, the Church of England breathed new life into the timeworn edifice, transforming it into a beacon of faith and fellowship for generations to come.

Yet, as the sands of time continued their inexorable march, the chapter of the Congregational building drew to a close. In 2018, the historic edifice, steeped in the memories of generations past, was listed for sale, its doors opening to a new chapter in its storied existence. In September 2019, the torch of stewardship passed into new hands, marking the denouement of one chapter and the commencement of another in the history of ecclesiastical heritage.
