Overview
In July 1896 tenders were called for the building of the Anglican Church at St Marys, the foundation stone laid shortly after.
This wooden church was demolished and a new church built.
First plans for the new brick church were drawn up in 1981 and a committee was appointed, but these plans were rejected. A new set of plans were drawn up in March 1987, after some modifications they were finally accepted.
The church was completed in March 1988 and on Palm Sunday, March 27th 1988 the new Holy Trinity Church was dedicated by Bishop Newell.
