*The new church at Bengeo, near Deloraine,

will (D.V.) be opened for Divine Service

on Sunday, the 21st instant, by the Ven. the

Archdeacon of Launceston, when a collection

will be made in aid of the Building Fund.

In November 1920, The Launceston Examiner reported on a successful social event held in the Hall at Lemana Junction, organized to support the St. Luke's church fund. Subsequently, in May 1923, a thanksgiving service took place at St. Luke's Church, with the Reverend R. Weld Thomas presiding. During the service, Reverend Thomas paid tribute to the late Mr. Tuthill, who had served as the churchwarden for over three decades and played a pivotal role in the construction of the current church building. (Note: The Advocate recorded 'St Luke's Anglican Church, Red Hills').

By October of 1936, this church had ceased to be in use.

This building no longer exists.
