Overview
St Mark's foundation stone was laid on the 4th May 1874 by the Reverend Thomas Stansfield, Bishop of Tasmania. The church was dedicated in 1876 at a cost of £208.
October 1894 additions were made and the church consecrated. In 1913 further additions were made. Later a vestry was dedicated as a memorial to the Lymington church had been destroyed by fire, the memorial reads
