Overview
On St Alban's Day, June 24th, 1979, Bishop Henry Jerrim laid the foundation stone for the new St. Alban's church. The original building at 9 Main Road was subsequently sold and repurposed as a private residence. The new church built of brick is located in close proximity to the original site. The church was opened in 1981.
This church is now part of the 'Edge Anglican Network' covering St Alban's, Claremont, New St Matthew's Norfolk and St Mark's Pontville since 2016.
