Overview

Vicar-General - Archdeacon Whitington laid the foundation stone for the new Anglican Church at Cradoc in August 1920. Built of wood the contractor was Mr. W.R. Beechey, who also donated the land. The cost was reported to be £120, it had a chancel, porch, belfry and vestry.

The dedication ceremony for St Peter's Anglican church took place in January 1921 by the Bishop of Tasmania. The little church at Cradoc was very dear to the local parishioners.

This building was sold prior to 1991 and is now a private residence.
