Overview
The Kangaroo Valley Mission Church opened in 1895 on a leased land situated on the opposite side of the road just below the Lady Franklin Museum.
Around 1919 this became a daughter Church of St James' New Town. When the new owner Mr. Beasley's purchased the land, he insisted that the church be moved. It was offered to St John's Parish, who moved the the building to Cressy Street, New Town, it became known as St Bede's, a daughter Church of St John's New Town.
