Overview
The Church of Our Lady, Star of the Sea, a new edifice, was solemnly dedicated by Archbishop Sir Guilford Clyde Young on the 11th of April, 1978, during the pastorate of Father Buckley. The construction, reflecting a significant commitment from the local community, was completed at a cost of $170,000. At the same time a small brick presbytery was also built.
