Overview

Bethesda was a small Chapel situated in upper Macquarie on the opposite side of All Saint's church. Sacred services where performed daily, however it was not consecrated (in 1847) and in the eyes of the church it was like any common room. The Chapel was also used as a school.

This Chapel was built partly by subscriptions and grant money from the Society for the Propagation of the Gospel from Rev. Dr. Fry's own ground.
