Priory Anglican Church & Hall

First services were held in a paddock at the bottom side of the bridge. The congregation later met at the house of Mr. John Clifford, then at Mr. Abel Chappel's place.

Built from voluntary labour at a cost of hundred and fifty pounds a timber construction was used as a hall and church. In August 1910 the Priory residents celebrated the sixth anniversary of their hall.

The Examiner newspaper of December 1913 reported that a new hall had been build and the residents would use the building for religious services and a school.

This building was unused when we visited in September 2000.
