Overview
The following report appeared in the Advocate newspaper in November 1929 under the heading Deloraine.
Moltema Church Hall
At Moltema, some nine miles out, has just been completed a very fine church hall for the services of the Church of England, and for social gatherings in the district.
The community felt the need for this building was long overdue and the committee left no stone un-turned to raise the funds. Plans were donated by an architect from Hobart and the contractor was Mr. B.J. Cameron of Deloraine. Mr. Cameron with the assistance of Messrs. A. Walker and F. Lovegrove carried out the work with speed and efficiency. The building measured 57ft x 25ft.
